News source:
RCT Researchers have revealed a new cancer drug for patients with HER2- positive metastatic breast cancer at the European Multidisciplinary Cancer Congress 2011 in Stockholm. T-DM1, trastuzumab emtansine, is a cytotoxic agent linked to an antibody, that specifically targets HER2- positive metastatic cancer cells.
