Financial Reporting

RCT is a private initiative, funded exclusively with private capital and was founded in April 2009. The first financial year ended on 31 December 2010. The next annual report with financial statements was made available in the first quarter of 2011.

The founders have created a fund that is invested conservatively in order to safeguard it against capital loss. The income of the investments of this fund is being used to pay for all operating expenses of RCT, including the website. The content of the website, however, is totally independent of its financial resource.

RCT may thus have at its dispose of an annual funding of 1.25 million euro to cover the expenses of the current operation and its anticipated growth. That way the continuity of the organization is assured.

RCT can also rely on other funds coming from private investors and venture capital funds for investment in its projects.

 

Donations

RCT has not yet taken any initiative in active fundraising, however all spontaneous contributions are welcome.

The founders and the staff guarantee a correct use of all available resources and make sure they will be invested as efficiently as possible.

100% of every donation will be invested in our research projects and will be in no way used for general or administrative costs. The content of the website is totally independent of donations and can therefore not be influenced by these donations.

An annual audited report will provide information on all investments and monetary transactions in a transparent manner and will be available upon request for each donor.
